This program will focus on blue crabs and methods used to capture crabs. Dr. John Wnek will discuss a project in which derelict crab pots were recovered from Barnegat Bay over the course of four years with some results on bycatch. It will also focus on research that is addressing optimal crab captures and reduction of bycatch. It will be an interactive program and there will be ways for you to get involved in our new crabbing initiative. Register Here
